I had to leave right after 'Dont let him waste your time' as my friend was crying to see Interpol :P ... Did he do any Pulp songs? (I doubt it).

Amazing, enigmatic, inspiring, entertaining, one of the weekend's best.

i decided to watch him cause i saw him in the leonard cohen film and thought he was top. yeah, he won me over. only cd i bought there was his. i love you jarvis, let's make babies. a women at the virgin store informed me about pulp because i am cluelsess and unhip and had no idea that jarvis was in pulp, so thanks to her.

No Pulp songs, but his set was fantastic. He was every bit as funny and charismatic as I'd hoped.

Yeah, why didn't you just meet up with your friend later? As much as I love Turn On The Bright Lights, I have to say that Interpol live is underwhelming. It's almost like like listening to the CD...the music is spot on, but Paul Banks screws up the singing half the time, and there's zero stage presence and energy. And Interpol will tour for the rest of the year, so there's no reason to miss a once in a lifetime opportunity to see Jarvis for them.

yeah my friend was giving me shit about how he wanted to see interpol and i said go see them then i'm watching jarvis and get this he says to me "we can just see him next time" i laughed out loud and said are you kidding me? the man hasn't been in the US for years interpol is the band you can catch when they come to san diego not jarvis. So i just met up with him during bjork. Oh yeah and Jarvis was amazing.

I was only there for Fat Children, like the person above I too left with friends to get good spots for Intepol, but dancing around like a fool to Fat Children as my friends watched confused by my enthusiasm and the lyrics was a highlight of my Friday.

He was perfectly cheeky and I think it was one of the best crowds at the entire festival. Thoroughly enjoyable! I'd LOVE to see him do some low-key Pulp songs next time 'round...

Oh, yes. Jarvis put on what was probably the most enjoyable show of the entire festival. If I could pick one person to see again from the entire Coachella line-up, it would be him. Great show.
