RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE has reportedly scheduled a date at Alpine Valley in East Troy, Wisconsin on August 24.

I cant imagine them choosing Wi as one of their few dates

this was on one of the local music sites (93x)
crazy, Anyone in the midwest or anywhere going if the reports are true.

I will tell you this much. Rage has played that venue before. It's sorta in the middle of nowhere but it was the location of the Tibetan Freedom concert and I saw Rage play it in or around 1998 or so?

06/13/1999 Rage Against The Machine play the Tibetan Freedom Concert at Alpine Valley in East Troy, Wisconsin. The bill also includes The Cult, Run DMC, the Beastie Boys, Blondie, Live, Biz Markie, Outkast, The Roots, Otis Rush, and Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder.

I remember when Rage started I moved very far away from the crazy ass pit that was going on.

They'll announce a full tour this summer at some point soon I'd imagine. This news being true wouldn't suprise me.

from what I hear, Rage isn't doing anything past rock the bells. they are already not friends again, and have to finish their obligations, but plans for the future are allegedly OFF.

i have heard the same. i live about 45 mins from where alpine valley is so i am stoked. i have also heard that they might be doing a tour with velvet revolver and alice in chains.

Just saw the AIC, VR tour news this morning. But it said nothing about Rage.

FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW, THIS IS CONFIRMED!

Apparently you go to that rage site with the clock and set your compuoter clock past the countdown date and it reveals the alpine valley show.

I was at my computer at exatly 10am and tried to get reserve seating. I was put in a queue for 15 min and by the time it was my turn all the seats were sold out. Had to settle for lawn tickets. :rolleyes
