you're correct on all of those except Groove Armada. They are headliner calibre as long as its a live set. Actually, if I recall correctly, they were billed highest on the poster for Sunday last year. So yeah, they were the headliner for Sunday.

I would make fun of your grammar, but that would be to easy. Lets focus on the content instead. I never said Lady Gaga would make sense. If she played Coachella, I would see her mainstage or closing the outdoor theatre. Maybe Sahara. Maybe. If she was in the Sahara though, she would be the headliner. If David Guetta was at Coachella, he would for certain be in the Sahara. However, he is not big enough to headline the Sahara.

Yes, the names you left are much bigger names than the ones you took off. But this is a game of who you think should headline in the Sahara. Although Infected Mushroom are hardly someone I would like to see, they are a big EDM name. And FSOL are a big name too.

I can see why you would want to cut down on our inflated list but making judgment calls on whether someone is "big enough" should be decided with votes. Like the headliner game before this, they will get off the list soon enough.

i disagree, for as big of a tool as david guetta is and mediocre his music is, he is pretty much as big as it gets in edm. dj mag has him ranked 3rd under armin and tiesto (gag). as to why these shit sacks are considered the top djs in edm is beyond me, but based on popularity i think he could definitely headline the sahara.

If we are stating fact and things that are actually possible, here are acts on rages list that actually could headline. If you don't recall last year MSTRKRFT was Saturdays headliner for the Sahara, all these acts a bigger and better.

And before someone goes off on how dj mag ranking lists are bullshit, since it's ranked by popularity and not skill or tecnique, he's a very popular dj. acts are booked to sell tickets... if david guetta was put on the bill this year, the sahara tent would probably be overflowing.

I'm not sure you've followed Shpongle close enough. The composition of Simon's music is unparallel. And they sell out all of their live shows overseas...

They could headline the Sahara. No doubt. Sure, it's not a typical Sahara act, but it's definitely a variation in the right direction.
