So a while ago my driver's license and insurance card vanished out of my wallet. I assumed that at some point I got drunk, accidentally pulled them out when I was pulling out my credit card, and lost them that way. This morning on the bus I found out that my university ID/bus pass was missing from my wallet. I had it last night on the bus home, in my wallet, and DID NOT TAKE MY WALLET OUT AFTER THAT AT ALL. It is extremely mysterious. God, stop taking my cards. It's not amusing.

It's really irritating especially because when you get a replacement bus pass they charge you an additional $40/quarter for every quarter it's valid. I never did find my driver's license or insurance card, so I have low hopes for finding this damn pass. It's bullshit.

I bought q leather cover for my driving licence. It makes it so awkwardly big I can't possibly lose it. And it's got a little harp on it, you know, to affirm my patriotism should any English soldiers be rooting through my back pocket for some reason.

Fun fact: I am licensed to drive a tractor.

But that's the thing. Nothing else in my wallet is missing. I never take the bus pass out of my wallet because my wallet is clear vinyl and I just flash the wallet with the pass. There is like NO POSSIBLE WAY I lost it anywhere but my bag, which I already emptied out 6 times and checked every crevice and under the bottom lining and everything.

My son has a friend who's parents have completely bailed. The kid is 16 and has been at my house now for over 2 weeks because his mom is in some motel downtown being a meth whore and his dad has disappeared. I feel really bad for the kid and have been letting him stay with me for the time being because I hate the idea of turning him over to the state. For the most part he is a pretty good kid, and even helps out around the house as payment for letting him stay.

Last night I actually got to spend some time with my new DVR since I moved. I was trying to figure out all the functions on the remote and was just going through all the different menu functions. I find a place that says "purchases" and click on it. Hmmm apparently at some point during the day while I was working and my son was in school he was watching Big Butted Sluts and some other pay per view porn movie at $10.99 each.
