The Winding Tent in 07 - Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival Message Board

So this tent was extremely hard to describe, but I promise you it existed. Ill do my best to describe it, though it will be hard.

The tent have been there the other years but I just remember this amazing tent in 07. It wasnt a tent with music or anything, it was just a small tent in the center of the festival and when you enter it you have to walk around in circles. The farther you got into the winding path in the tent the smaller and more confined the walls got. If you had the patience to make it through the whole way you were rewarded with this insane lounge area where everyone who decided to make it through was just posted smoking blunts. It was soooo cooool, but not to many people knew about it.

Does anyone know/remember what I am talking about?

I ventured into that stoned, and the further I went, the more I felt like Alice in Wonderland. Figured I better pass on smoking anymore by the time I crawled into the center.

I don't know if it'll make you feel better or not, but I'm probably the most misunderstood person around here and the first thing I thought of was Alice falling down that deep black hole as I continued on through that tunnel.

haha everytime i went in there, the only thing people were doing were smoking. that tent was pretty cool though

Upon emerging from the winding tunnel, my friend joked that it was a Rainbow Family reunion at the center of the spiral. He was not too far off with his description.
