If we include Hot Chip, we'd also have to add Islands, Caribou, Simian Mobile Disco and Cut Copy, all of whom are playing in Northern California in late April and have no LA dates. All will likely be there, but we can't confirm any of these yet.

im going regardless. as of now i would check out the breeders and dwight yoakam so good start.

for me, last year when they announced it there were about 20 bands i said i would see. then after sampling alot of the music form other bands, i had over 60 on my list. thats the whole fun of it is finding new bands to get into. gogol bordello was my #1 discovery for me last year.

Also, this is 12 bands, Coachella will have about 120 when all is said and done. That means there are roughly 108 bands we don't know about yet who could still get you excited. I'm pumped to see The Breeders and Chromeo thus far.

Out of all those, I'm interested in seeing the Breeders and Death Cab. And the Verve, since I believe catdirtsez's confirmation. Out of the less "confirmed" but highly likely, I want to see Portishead and Islands, and want to check out Simian Mobile Disco if scheduling permits.
