anybody else think they may do it right this year and keep the best for last.....i.e Daft Punk/Kanye/Madonna(not saying I dig her shit) in 06......big names right?.......until that fucking blue poster comes out.....I just can't see Jack Johnson in large text........weak....dredg is confirmed which is fucking sweet.....but not on the line up....wierd.....and acts are surprizingly low (mid 40s/day).....I really get the feeling we are in for a surprize..


if not down to throw in for a time machine go to woodstock.......then Coachella 09' where Radiohead/DAFT PUNK/Led Zeppelin are headlining!

They've had late additions in past years and just adjusted the poster accordingly...

Paul did say in the press conference he has some TRICKS up his sleeves..

So I would wait and see...

i think that they made a decent lineup and then will add big names after tickets are sold so that the tickets wont be sold out immediately and real coachella fans can go.

Don't get your hopes up for the additions. Yeah, he said they would add some, but don't think it will be anybody huge. It might be awesome, might not be, just don't build it up to be something big and get disappointed when its not...just sayin.

daft punk came a couple days after the first poster was made.

madonna was maybe a couple weeks to a month before the festival

kanye was only revealed when they released set times.

im callin a co-headliner to be added on friday, and some sub-headliners added to sunday.

Nothing too mindblowing there either.

I don't know if this lineup can be saved. I'm excited because it's still Coachella and there are still bands who will be awesome (Portishead, Fatboy Slim, Kraftwerk, Justice, Gogol, etc.). But seriously, unless they're bringing in the robots Friday, things look kinda bleak.
