The picture was an accident...I removed it...

As for the festival, maybe the people who were disappointed by Bonnaroo will like that one better. I don't know....

The people on those boards react even more angrily about line ups than some people on here....so I can't speak for them and this festival.

Wow, that's a horrible lineup. I mean, there's a handful of great acts, but gross. Wait, the Dresden Dolls? I thought they weren't going to play any shows for a year or two.

That's not to shabby. Just when everyone throws festivals they should start steering away from jam bands. It just makes their festival look like every other one around.

I like what I see out of Rothbury...almost considered going until I saw that the person who posted the lineup in this forum was lying about Mars Volta. Dirty...

ive done bonnaroo but coachella is where my heart is. I doubt the hardcore bonn fans will come since they regard anything short of string cheese incident, umphreys and widespread panic to be a sell out. and the best they have for electronica (which it isnt) is sts9

people tour more now than before that album sales are down. Instead of touring to sell albums you'll start to see acts selling or giving out downloads to sell tickets. Madonna canceled her deal with WB and signed with Livenation (a concert promoter, not a record label)

Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic, John Mayer and Snoop Dogg are among the top acts set for Rothbury, a new festival being launched by Madison House Presents and AEG Live. The event will be held July 3-6 in Rothbury, Michigan, about three hours northwest of Detroit.

The setting is the Double JJ Ranch, which will offer camping in addition to on-site lodging. Tickets go on sale Feb. 27 via RothburyFestival.com.

Additional artists confirmed to appear include Phil Lesh and Friends, 311, Modest Mouse, Primus, Gov't Mule, Thievery Corporation, the Black Keys, Medeski Martin & Wood, Phish's Mike Gordon, Beth Orton, Gogol Bordello, the Disco Biscuits, Sound Tribe Sector 9 and Drive-By Truckers.

Beyond the music, organizers have established the Rothbury Think Tank, which will foster discussions and seminars about climate change and clean energy solutions. The Think Tank is being curated by DR. Stephen H. Schneider.

In addition, the event will feature an Energy Fair and will donate a minimum of $50,000 worth of solar panels to a local school.

I would want to watch Primus, Thievery Corp, Modest Mouse, The Black Keys, Of Montreal, The Dresden Dolls, Zappa, Crystal Method, The Secret Machines, Sage Francis, Bassnectar, The Juan Mclean and Busdriver. There are some quality bands playang.

I still hope Ritestyl burns though.

WTF!?!?!?!

GV is too cheap to get us Mars Volta, Primus or Dresden Dolls, but everyone ELSE gets them???

but the rest of that lineup kinda blows... but not as bad as that atrocious DistuSeethKid3DoorsGayFagRockCircleJerkOff-Extravagaza posted a few pages back...

Those are about the only ones I'd like to see. I wonder if this is just a one off for Primus like lolla in 05, I hate when they do that. Anyone know if they'll play any other shows this year?

Oh and The Volta

Coachella should add the Dresden Dolls. They didn't play anywhere on the west coast during their last tour, and obviously the Amanda solo tour isn't happening. No dates or anything announced yet. God, that album is taking forever to come out.
