They pretty much ruled.

I'm not the biggest fan of them, but I do love Scott. The songs sounded great - the electronic backdrop visuals however, were horrid and distracting though. Lots of checkered board patterns and spirals. Yawn.

They have said they will add a handful of - "deeper album cuts" to the setlist for the future dates.

01. Big Empty
02. Wicked Garden
03. Big Bang Baby
04. Vasoline
05. Lady Picture Show
06. Lounge Fly
07. Crackerman
08. Sour Girl
09. Creep
10. Plush
11. Interstate Love Song
12. Coma
13. Down
14. All In The Suit That You Wear
15. Sex Type Thing
16. Trippin' On A Hole In A Paper Heart
17. Dead and Bloated

Killer setlist imo.

But in all honesty Filter (who went on before them) blew them away.

Filter was crazy brutal up front.

Played everything I wanted to here for such a short set.

This was my perspective during Hey Man Nice Shot. A quick video of my surroundings (I was very close)

god you are clueless. stp wishes they could be anywhere close to as good of a band as pearl jam is.

Not too shabby of a setlist from Filter. I would love to see a full one. Too bad they have avoided LA like the plague, and will continue to do so until at least the end of the summer.

All but Scott from STP were on the side stage watching Filter for their entire set. One would conclude they all are friends, as they had some banter in between numbers

No, I agree the rest of the band of Pearl Jam are probably better musicians than STP but I, personally, just really, really hate the way Eddie sings and love the way Scott sings.

i think eddie is also a much better singer than scott. i can see how some people dont like his voice, but i think its awesome. he can hit some great notes.

I think it's the fact that I can't understand any of his lyrics when he sings them and the same goes for Thom Yorke. They do more whining than singing.

eddie does not whine. thom does for sure, way too much. eddie does his mumbling, and goatboy tones sometimes, but he does not whine.

Went to the Dallas show and thought it was was fucking fantastic. I was skeptical but STP nailed it. Coma was the best of the night.

Gonna hit up their show in Bend. This thread just confirmed it. Thank you.

If/when STP plays Coachella, it will be as a headliner. Its silly to think otherwise.

I saw these guys at the Greek tonight, and they fucking rocked. It's the first time I've seen them, so I can't compare it to previous shows, but I was very satisfied with this one.

STP were very good at the the Greek last night. But the visuals were fucking embarassing. Also, BRMC sounded great.

No. I saw they got added earlier in the day and had already made dinner plans. I was excited for them, however. I heard good things from our staff.

Still suprised STP made it this far on the tour and nobody has died yet. I guess that money really is motivating them to keep it together. It still cannot be even remotely as good as their last tour for # 4.

I agree with everything you say except the light shows, those are cool, especially if you're tripping. BTW - you sound like a huge jam band fan.
