Default Watch the US/Mexico game

Let's go USA!

Tom, John, Amy and Breakjaw should be ashamed if they are not at this game.

0-0 at half. We look sloppy for the most part. Time for Eddie Johnson to start playing.

Sold-out and the tickets were expensive in the first place. Henri is there, though. He has the dedication.

I have been watching most of the game, though.

I love how we dominate Mexico when we aren't at the hellhole that is Estadio Azteca.

Mexico showed the same problem they've usually had, they lack execution at the finish. they set up some nice plays and then don't follow through. U.S.A. played a good game. Props.

Hahaha.

I am certainly not denying that I lack dedication to watching the soccer. It would've been nice to've gone and that probably was my best chance for quite some time but I'm fine with that.

And what it boils down to is that there are a lot of good shows coming up and I'd rather go to a half dozen of them - at great, tiny venues - than a single soccer game in a gigantic stadium that I've already been to.

yea the mexico keeper showed absolutely no class or composure. After that 2nd goal, he slid into Eddie Johnson running across the field. I didn't hear the announcers in Spanish or English mention it but it was so blatant I can't believe they didn't talk about it.

Just finished watching. WAY too many chances given up, but a win is a win. How solid was that corner from Donovan? Couldn't have placed it any better. Conrad really proved himself in this match. Hopefully, a sign of more good things to come.
Once again, classless acts from Mexico; on the keeper, and on the entire team for not shaking hands. Classless.

The ESPN guys talked about it. I fucking love Wynalda. He doesn't mince words. And yes, the whole team was classless.

The US played a pretty good match. Too many chances at the end, but they obviously took advantage of what they had far better than the Mexicans. Tim Howard is a monster too.
