most of us wouldn't touch demonoid with a ten foot pole and while that rotary saw is stuck mid-way through your esophagus you should do your best to keep quiet.

Just got a twitter from Ed with a link to a HQ version, but it turned out to just be a page to pre-order the album. The leak seems to have really upset him, regardless of all the praise it's already getting.

His first couple tweets (that he deleted) mentioned being a little miffed, but trying to be positive about it. He implied that he knew it would happen, just that he hoped that it would be a little later. He also expressed that he was bummed that everyone was hearing it low quality for the first time. But like I said, he was doing his best to be "zen" and "ok with it."

I get the sense that was a bit of intentional hyperbole on his part. He was speaking directly to Ed Droste, after all. Well, as direct as twitter can be.

I love his voice, but I've never exactly held Pecknold's music criticism in very high regard.

I was having some computer trouble and I had to redownload the whole album. And, surprise surprise, now I have to do it again. Only got through the first three tracks. I hate you, rar file... I hate you so much.
