BBALLARL (12:22:04 AM): so we drive to the one on washington and lincoln, and i fill up the slurpee or whatev, and am walking over to get gummi worms
BBALLARL (12:22:30 AM): and i see this guy and girl walk in, and i look at the guys face (he had his hood on over his head) and immediately think "thats fucking zack de la rocha"

I've seen RATM 6 times in Denver. Every time they killed it. Probably one of the best bands I've ever seen. RATM at red rocks in 97 or 96 is probably one of the best shows I've ever witnessed, and red rocks sucks.

I went to high school with Zack(although he was younger,my brother knew him alot better)and one time I helped bribe a bouncer to get him in a Bad Brains show,and I have to tell you he's always been one of the nicest,most charming,and genuine people that I've known.
One time I was at my friend Adam's house in Irvine and Zack stopped by before he was going to play that night at the Coach house in San Juan Capistrano,just to say hi and see if Adam's mom wanted to be on the guest list.I remember him and Adam singing "Jump" by Kriss Kross and joking around.That's sorta the way I remember Zack,even though I've seen RATM alot since then.I'll be there on the 29th,for sure.

That was an awsome story. Its good to see a thread not full of american wankers whinning about rage and RHCP and any other name they recognize on the list. I signed up on this message board thing wanting to share some excitement and get people geared up about this once in a life time opportunity. Never seen rage before, I'm from canada, and a bit young for their time any ways, so this is living a dream. Thank you ppl for feeding my excitment!!!!
Oh, and a question for you ppl who have seen rage live in the states. I love to mosh, but moshing in Canada isnt punching in the face or going for blood or anything like that to us. We shove around and get worked up, but in a brotherly kind of way, not so combative you know what I mean? If someone falls down, 3-4 ppl stop to help him up and make sure he is good to go again. All I'm asking is what can I expect from this massive, high energy mosh pit and are people going to be head-hunting out there or what?
