I'm jealous! Coachella should take this lead and have similar activities. I recommend:
Hipster bicycle-built-for-two rentals Rage fan moshing demonstrations Emo hair contest Scalper dunk tanks And auction off dates with a Pitchfork staff member or two |

If I have some extra cash I really might consider going, I am off that weekend so it wouldnt be such a stretch. But I might have to buy tighter jeans though.... Yeah right I would die if I wore jeans to this thing...

Damn, I'd go just for that barbecue. Now that's something Coachella needs. To hell with all that Americanized pseudo-ethnic nonsense, bring on the barbecue!!

For sure,, that Barbeque would be the s**t, especially since its a cook off. Hey they need a chili cook off too!!!! Listen to that suggestion, next year chili cook off.. And where is like the fried food thingy too? Like in the south they have like fried food of everything and the county fairs. Fried Coke anyone?

Most of the cowboys I know didn't like Brokeback mountain. I'm from a ranch town, so Country is ingrained into me, whether I like it or not. I was astonished to realize that I knew almost every name on that list, and also that I've seen Kenny Chesney about 6 years ago. I was security for his show at the fairgrounds.

They weren't "cowboys" in Annie Proulx's Brokeback Mountain, but sheep herders.

Ranchers, in the more wide sense of the word, and cowboy tends to be the term that most of them would use for themselves. I went to school on a Sheep ranch (the schoolhouse was built on land leased out by the rancher.)

I believe Stagecoach tickets for 2009 are already on sale. I would go if The The was there.

The The comes back from time to time. Wire is around too, they just played. I miss Kittchens of Distinction, the Sneetches and the Stratford 4. By the way, Dirty Pretty Things are breaking up.

Yeah, I've been seriously considering StageCoach this year as well. I'm just trying to figure out how I'm going to afford it as I also really want to go to Sasquatch this year
