THIS IS THE WORST LINE-up

ID LIKE MORE BANDS ADDED TO THE MIX OF THE SHOWS......
this year does suck somewhat on talent of shows from top to bottom daily.

After the headliners. one or two really good bands OR Dj's then down hill.

Just an opinion...... Any opposition to it .. How many would you like 5 or 10??????

The fact that you mention She Wants Revenge as a highlight of last year's show just blows my mind. Last year's lineup was fantastic, but She Wants Revenge? What a generic band (that has already been forgotten). I think this year's lineup is great...

I have to agree, although there are some I would go for--The Chain, Interpol, Silversun, Kings,-It does seem weak, especially at the top. I was hoping for Keane, Black Angels, The View, Midlake, Killers, Drive-By Truckers, Clearlake, Sons and Daughters, Echo, Morrissey, Modest Mouse, and maybe a real surprise headliner R.E.M. doing 1981-1987; Roger Waters -Dark Side of the Moon, etc. and some new headliners. Bjork alone sucks (what about the 'cubes?); RATM boring (come on, a one off? ); Peppers-how many times can you play the same song.
I know the comments are comming, so bring them on. Oh, by the way WILLIE FUCKIN NELSON? NICKEL CREEK? HAPPY MONDAY? I 'll just go off to Tennesse this June. But whose ever going have fun!!! Who knows...I still might buy a ticket. I feel myself reaching for my card now...In fact I do want to see Klaxons; CSS; Arctic Monkeys; Fields; Air; Sonic Youth; Explosions; Wher The fuck is my credit card? WHAT THE FUCK WAS I THINKING? this board is light compared to how the ozzfest board goes. mention anything positive and its sure death!! lol i would of enjoyed going last year but im cool with the lineup. honestly all the headliners could suck and i would still go. its for the vibe and you always discover new bands to get in to u know?

i literally wait all year every year for coachella, day by day i countdown, and i agree it's for the peaceful and free spirited--which is what makes it such a beautiful experience; however, i must admit i agree with depeche, i have been checking back every day for about a month now, waiting for the lineup to be posted, and as soon as i saw it yesterday, i thought it must've been a prank. last year's lineup left me speechless, but besides arcade fire, felix, dj shadow, and infected mushroom, i'm pretty let down. don't get me wrong, you couldn't pay me to miss any of the three days just for the experience alone, but i just thought i'd feel a little more clear if i "peacefully" vented on here!

The Killers? Morrissey? Drive-By Truckers? I saw the former and the latter in September at the Virgin Festival and they weren't what I would call impressive. Sure, if I was 45 and had a penchant for Budweiser I would absolutely love the Drive-By Truckers and if I did not own a radio nor a computer I might find The Killers somewhat unique. That being said, Morrissey is bad for your soul.

The fact you slag Willie Nelson and Happy Mondays renders any points you WILL EVER MAKE, invalid and pathetic. Made even more obvious by saying the Sugarcubes are better than Bjork solo - hahahahaha, that's rich.

This lineup is not terrible, but I agree that it was a bit of a letdown. That being said, I think we should all expect a few "big" names to be added within the next few weeks. If you look at past years, you'll see a grip of fairly popular subheadliners...much bigger than the Happy Mondays, the Decemberists, Arctic Monkeys, etc. I don't think any day is bad - there are plenty of good artists. However, last year had much bigger names (e.g., Common, Kanye, Madonna, Matisyahu, etc.) spread throughout the days.

I'm also pretty escited about Rage and the Comedians of Comedy. As for the rest of the concert, it's just time to enjoy the nifty art and meeting cool people. I'll take all the time in California that I can get seeing as how I'm from Virginia.
