iPhone Help

Using the Coachella iphone application

1) Install iPhone Application (click here)

2) Connect to the internet with your iPhone or iPod touch to get the very latest lineup information

3) Click on Photos or Friends and enter your information.
   a) Name : This is your name (doesn't have to be your real name)
   b) Message Board Username : your username on the coachella message board
   c) Email : Your email address [MUST MATCH YOUR MESSAGE BOARD NAME FOR MAP/FRIEND FEATURES

d) Secret Code : put anything in here, it doesn't matter

4) Click "Save"

5) You can now upload photos

6) You will receive an email from our system asking you to click a link to verify. Once you verify successfully you will be able to add friends and see your location on the interactive map. If you want to use the map feature, you must have a Coachella Message Board account. If you don't have one sign up here:

7) If your username and email don't match the message board, click on iPhone Settings application, which looks like metal gears. Then click on the small Coachella logo and edit your settings to match.

Uploading photos [Internet connection required]:

1) Click on photos
2) Take a photo by clicking on the Camera icon or select and existing photo by clicking on the Search button.
3) Give the photo a caption and select which year it is from
4) Click on the name of the photo and hit the Upload Photo button.

Adding friends [Internet connection required]:

1) Click on friends
2) Click the plus button
3) Enter your friend's message board username
4) Select if you want to share your location with them
5) Click Save

When your friend logs in and signs up with their application they will see your name in their list and when they select Share Location next to your name you will then see them in your Interactive Map during the concert.

Interactive Map [Internet connection required]:

1) Click Map
2) Click Interactive
3) Click Send Location
4) Your current location will show up on the map as will your friend's locations.

iPhone App Crash Fix

If you have problems with the Coachella iPhone app crashing during startup, delete the app and reinstall. That will fix the problem.
