Car Camping

Our most popular overnight option lets you park a vehicle on your campsite and build an awesome weekend oasis.

What to Expect

  • Sites are 30'x10'. [1]
  • One vehicle per site allowed/required.
  • Unlimited friends/tents per site.
  • Sites assigned in order of arrival. [2]
Preferred Car Camping:
  • Don’t rush! Arrive at your leisure.
  • Located closest to the venue entrance, near the Ferris Wheel.
  • All Coachella attendees may enter camping area. [6]
  • Festival Pass required.
  • Must be 18+ or with a parent/legal guardian to camp. [7]
  • Campers searched on check-in.
Eat & Drink:
  • You may bring food & drink.
  • Campers 21+ may bring one (1) case of beer cans or box of wine. [8]
  • No glass allowed.
  • Food vendors & General Store onsite.
  • Vehicles searched on check-in.
  • No ins/outs. [3] No exit Fri-Sun 9pm-2am. [4]
  • Passenger cars, trucks or vans only. [5]
  • Add’l. vehicles must purchase Camping Companion Parking.
  • Camping is open Thu 9am-Mon 10am.
  • Noise Curfew starts at 1:30am.
  • Vehicle Check-In Thu 9am-2am; Fri-Sun 9am-8pm
  • Pedestrian check-in is always open.

    • Rental company logos permitted.

Surrendered items are considered forfeited on entry. No items will be returned, regardless of what any staff member or guard tells you.
